‘Article 15’ is followed by ‘Thappad’! That’s how Anubhav Sinha’s next film has been named and it stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead.
The first look of the film has been released capturing with Taapsee in frame wearing a simple salwar kameez with a chunni around her neck. Take a look:

‘Thappad’ plot indicates, it is going to to be a women-centric film reflecting how women fall victim to typecasting, in India.
Taapsee Pannu, who has built a commendable reputation for herself in the last few years, for choosing female-oriented films, depicting headstrong characters, parallelly with mainstream films.
She has been much praised for her performances in films like, ‘Pink’(2016), ‘Naam Shabana’(2017), ‘Manmarziyaan’(2018), ‘Badla’(2019), ‘Game Over’(2019) etc.
On the other hand, Anubhav Sinha, who had earlier made Bolly dramas like ‘Tum Bin’(2001), ‘Ra.One’(2011), recently found luck in a different genre of cinema, dealing with several contemporary national issues. ‘Mulk’(2018) and ‘Article 15’(2019) being two of them, we definitely look forward to experience ‘Thappad’.
The film releases 28th February, 2020.
