‘The Boss Baby: Back in Business’ is Going High on IMDB Reviews and Currently Streaming on Netflix
Tim and his brother 'The Boss Baby' is back and this time as a web series on Netflix.
‘The Boss Baby’ is back and so much back in business! The prequel that released as a full-length animation feature film, got its sequel ‘The Boss Baby: Back in Business’ launched as a web series on Netflix. And the reviews are quite impressive.
Aren’t you missing out on something? Cuteness, playfulness and baby stuffs? Well, I was referring to ‘The Boss Baby’ sequel that the Netflixers are currently enjoying and rated the 6.4 on 10. Okay… not too bad, but I expected more! Honestly, being a movie buff and animation movie fan, I had fun watching the prequel and it was wonderful.
How a teenager boy, Tim, accidentally gets a baby brother, who is actually, from the ‘Baby Corp’, talks like a grown-up man, workaholic and has nothing childish in nature other than his physical attributes. The adventure of these two brats was definitely something fresh to the eyes. I especially loved the ‘baby making’ scene (very innocent and brilliantly executed). And I think, most of you will agree with me that it is one of the best scenes in the film.
Generally, the sequels fail us. Unable to live upto the expectations, the following parts of some blockbusters become an utter disappointment. But reviews say, that’s not the case with ‘The Boss Baby: Back in Business’. One IMDB reviewer mentioned that he watches the show with his kid and never minds to see repeat telecasts as well, “This show is one of the best movie to tv shows i've watched in years (well since buffy), I love sitting down with my son and watching it at the end of the day. Neither of us get sick of repeating the episodes either. Netflix needs to create more episodes. Great for all ages. I very rarely review anything but I had to for this one.”
Another wrote, “I love animations, though I wasn't particularly keen on the movie this was inspired by. It's just too bizarre to think of babies this way... Of course, its public is children who like to laugh at simple things, but that's the point in which watching this series as a young adult is worth the while. In my opinion, it's nice to see that a show with good morals is being produced in this hectic society. The importance of family, relying on others for support, believing in what you do, and so on, are things that I feel are not anymore in the goals our children are growing up to look up to. I hope it gets renewed!”
However, it’s a big world, and we all have different opinions towards a single show. This time, the plot features the boss baby and his brother Tim, getting involved in a battle against the cats. And some have serious objections! According to one, this show is teaching children to hate cats.
I am no critic, but I do pay heed to kinds of feedbacks one single production collects. If one is feeling so, it might have appeared to him like that. But I believe, that was never the intention of the Dreamworks filmmakers. It’s just a story and aims at light-hearted entertainment.
But I still think, it should have earned a higher rating… well… sequels will be sequels!
