Pooja Bedi’s Daughter Aalia Furniturewalla is All Set to Make Her Bollywood Debut

A fresh new face will soon be launched in Bollywood.  We are talking about Pooja Bedi’s daughter Aalia Furniturewalla who will be making her debut in Bollywood with her new movie titled ‘Jawani Janeman’ directed by Nitin Kakkar.

‘Jawani Janeman’ is a comedy drama which also stars Saif Ali Khan who would be playing Aalia’s father. This story revolves around a father who refuses to grow up in life however it is not long before he realizes that his own daughter played by Aalia is all grown up. In reality, we’ve seen Saif playing father to daughter Sara Ali Khan however it is for the very first time that audiences would be witnessing Saif play dad to a grown-up gal on screen. The movie is produced by Saif himself under the banner ‘Black Knight Films.’

As per reports, Saif Khan’s own daughter Sara Ali Khan was to play the part of the teenage daughter earlier which for some reason didn’t work out in her favor and lady luck favored Aalia instead. On Monday, Aalia Furniturewalla made it to the trends lists on several media channels which spoke about her Bollywood debut. According to a source close to Filmfare, Aalia is super excited about the debut and to be cast alongside Bollywood biggie Saif Ali Khan. She also liked the script of the movie.

Aalia, is actress Pooja Bedi and Farhan Ebrahim Furniturewalla’s daughter. The couple however separated in the year 2003. Her grandparents are Protima Bedi, the famous Odissi dancer, and Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi. The young debutant often uploads photographs of herself in her Instagram handle and the mom and daughter duo is often spotted at high profiled events in and around the city of Mumbai.

Aalia will be joining the club with other debutantes such as Janhvi Kapoor who was earlier launched in ‘Dhadak’ and Sara Ali Khan whose movie ‘Kedarnath’ will be releasing in December 2018. Unlike these debutantes whose parents have already been well established in the industry, Aalia’s mother Pooja Bedi just did a couple of movies in Bollywood. She wasn’t a successful actress and therefore she branched into television. Aalia possesses striking and unconventional features thanks to her bloodline which is bound to capture the audience but will she be able to outshine as an actress? Only time will reveal. ‘Jawani Janeman’ is expected to go on floors in London next year.
