Why Does the Duchess of Cambridge Wear Plasters on Her Fingers?

The Duchess of Cambridge is a sight of perfection when it comes to fashion and style however there is one aspect of her dressing that often leaves her royal fans perplexed. It is the plaster around her fingers. Kate has been spotted not once but on numerous occasions sporting a plaster in her fingers.
The Duchess can be seen sporting a band-aid on her thumb in this recent pic taken at the Chelsea Flower show. The plaster seems to match her camel colour culottes pretty well.
On another occasion, she was seen with a plaster in her middle finger at the Tusk Conservation Awards in London. The Duchess was looking radiant in a turquoise Jenny Packham dress albeit we could still spot the plaster in her finger even though it was concealed well.

Some of the plasters were spotted around her fingers while some were spotted at the back of her hand.
While attending an event in London, Prince Harry jokingly told Kate that she has to call them plasters in the UK.
It appears that the plaster has become an integral part of Kate’s dressing style and wardrobe. So why does the Duchess choose to wear them so often? Some speculate that Kate has a penchant for gardening; therefore she might be highly prone to scratches by rough plants and shrubs.
May be it’s the kids! We all know how often moms are scratched by their babies and toddlers or is it the handling of pets at the palace?
While we’ve come up with a variety of reasons, the Buckingham Palace has never revealed why Kate wears them. Guess, Kate wearing plasters or band-aids, as they say, will always remain a secret behind the closed doors of the palace.
