Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are Getting Married and It is Official Now

After years of speculations, whether they are going to marry or not, finally Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have confirmed that they are all set for the wedding, which is scheduled this year on 14th and 15th November, through a joint statement by both Ranveer and Deepika on Social Media.

In the statement that was posted on the social media, the couple wrote, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty friendship and togetherness”.

The news of marriage between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been doing rounds more aggressively for the last couple of months and social media is flooded with all kinds of rumors every now and then, that’s why probably the couple has chosen the social media to silent one and all. The wedding venue has not been announced yet.

Even a few weeks ago, Deepika and Ranveer, diplomatically avoided the question about their wedding rumor, during Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Ranveer was seen saying, “You are seeing this every day, including details about the color of my sherwani and wedding gifts. But, when there is something, you will be the first to know”, while Deepika referred to the speculations as, “There have been many November weddings”. Rumors and speculations have been doing rounds that the couple are getting married on November 20.

Even some media houses started featuring stories of Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding. A media organization also ran a story that cell phones will not be allowed at the wedding venue, some months ago. The couple was also said to be attending a destination wedding in Lake Como, Italy only with friends and family. According to media reports now, the shopping of Singh and Padukone houses have already begun.

 

32-year-old Deepika Padukone and 33-year-old Ranveer Singh have three blockbuster films together Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, all the three films are directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ranveer Singh has now three films lined up, like Simmba, '83 and Gully Boy, while Deepika in her next film is playing the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in an ambitious and challenging project, directed by Meghna Gulzar.
