Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh entered a new chapter of their lives by embracing parenthood. Actress Deepika Padukone gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday.

The couple jointly announced the good news through an Instagram post. The baby girl was reportedly born in Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital.

The heart-warming post read, “Welcome baby girl! 8.9.2024, Deepika & Ranveer.”

The IG post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans as they welcomed the baby girl. Many celebrities from the film community congratulated the new parents too!

As they enter this new phase of life, it is believed that Deepika and Ranveer will move into their new apartment in Bandra after its completion, which is next to Shah Rukh Khan's home ‘Mannat.’

Reports suggest that Deepika will put a stop to work until 2025 to devote her time to her baby. “Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she’ll immediately get busy with filming the sequel of Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas,” a source told News 18.
