‘Pathaan’ Teaser Releases on SRK’s 57th Birthday; Receives Incredible Response

The King of Bollywood celebrated his 57th birthday yesterday and the director of ‘Pathaan’ Siddharth Anand thought it would be appropriate to drop the teaser of the movie on this special occasion. 

According to Siddharth, fans have been eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of this action extravaganza. 

Siddharth says, “The craze for a glimpse of Pathaan has been unprecedented. After a long, long time there’s insane buzz for a film that is genuine and organic. And it’s all due to the super stardom of this one man - Shah Rukh Khan. His fans, and we are talking of millions of them, have been clamouring for just a peek of him and his film. And thus, there could be no better day to put out the teaser of Pathaan than SRK’s birthday!”

He further said, “We had to make a unit that justifies their wait to see something of Pathaan as well as the fact that we have chosen his birthday to release the first big asset of the film! It had to be spectacular and memorable at the same time and I think we have managed to make them very happy, given the incredible reaction that we are witnessing for Pathaan’s teaser.”

The teaser is infused with action packed scenes while the character of ‘Pathaan’ appears intriguing and intense. In the opening scenes you can see ‘Pathaan’ being tortured. The portrayal of his character will compel you to know more about his complex persona. 

You can catch a glimpse of John Abraham who looks absolutely fit and looks like he’s ready to take on his enemies while Deepika Padukone looks ravishing! In fact you can also witness DP indulging in a few action stunts. 

Given the amazing chemistry between SRK and DP in movies like Chennai Express and Om Shanti Om, the duo will raise your expectations in this one too! 

We can catch a glimpse of a fight sequence between SRK and John. The action sequences appear top notch and many of the scenes are shot on foreign soil. 

The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films and it is the most expensive project of his production company. The film is set for a theatrical release on 25 January 2023.
