Actress Sonakshi Sinha has finally tied the knot with long time beau Zaheer Iqbal. They got married in an intimate ceremony at her apartment in 81 Aureate in Mumbai on Sunday. Sonakshi's parents were present at the ceremony.
Both the actors shared the good news through respective IG posts. They shared delightful pictures of their private wedding ceremony.
The couple twinned in white chikankari outfits. Sonakshi made an elegant bride in a beautiful white saree. She styled her hair into a neat bun and accessorised it with white flowers. The groom, on the other hand, opted for a simple white kurta pyjama. The viral snaps show that the couple made a great pair and complemented each other.
Sonakshi Sinha wrote a note on Instagram that read: “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs... leading up to this moment... where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods... we are now man and wife. Here's to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever.”

The couple registered the marriage as per the Special Marriage Act.
After the wedding, Sonakshi's father Shatrughan Sinha told the media, "Every father waits for this moment when his daughter is given to her chosen groom. My daughter looks most happy with Zaheer. Unki jodi salamat rahe (May their union stay strong forever)."
Some of the prominent guests at the ceremony were Huma Qureshi, her brother Saqib Saleem, Aditi Rao Hydari and her fiance Siddharth, Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma.
Tonight, a reception will be held at Bastian, a hotel owned by Shilpa Shetty, where the wedding celebrations will come to a close.
