Wedding Bells Ring for Sonakshi Sinha And Zaheer Iqbal, No Official Confirmation Given by Family Yet
Actress Sonakshi Sinha will marry Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, with the Sangeet on June 19 in Mumbai. They met at a Salman Khan party and starred in "Double XL". The wedding is at Bastian, Dadar. Sonakshi's recent roles include "Heeramandi" and "Dahaad".
Actress Sonakshi Sinha will soon tie the knot with boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. The couple will get married on June 23 while the Sangeet ceremony will take place on June 19 in Mumbai, sources report. The couple reportedly met at a party hosted by Salman Khan.
They’ve worked together in a film called Double XL which was released in 2022 and also featured Huma Qureshi.
Although there has been no official confirmation of the wedding, media sources report that the wedding ceremony is likely to take place at Bastian - At The Top, in Dadar, Mumbai.
Though the couple have posted on each other’s social media profiles, they’ve remained private about their relationship. Zaheer began his Bollywood journey in 2019 with the film ‘The Notebook’ and is said to be related to Salman Khan.
In an interview with iDiva, Sonakshi expressed, “I don’t know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?”
A source told Hindustan Times, “There will be a celebration on June 22 as well at their family home in Juhu. Only close friends and family are invited for this function. The wedding will take place on the morning of June 23 while the reception will take place at night.”
The daughter of Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam has been performing amazingly well in her acting career. She recently won the hearts of movie enthusiasts with her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi as Rihaana and Fareedan.
