Video of Child Being Rescued from A Tin Roof of An Apartment Complex in Chennai Goes Viral
Harrowing video shows rescue of toddler who fell from balcony in Chennai apartment complex. Residents bravely come together to save the child who landed precariously on a second-floor roof. Thankfully, the baby is reported to be safe!
The terrifying video of a baby being rescued from the tin roof of an apartment complex in Avadi, Chennai has gone viral.
The baby fell from the fourth floor of VGN Stafford community while her mother was nursing her on the balcony.
In the viral video, the toddler Harin Magi is captured sitting on her hands and knees at the edge of the roof cover of the second floor.
Every passing minute the baby was seen sliding down while neighbours and the parents were heard screaming from windows of apartment complexes.
The video takes a thrilling turn, when the child reaches the end of the rooftop and her feet are seen dangling in the air.
Three men climbed from the first floor window to rescue the child. One man who was being carried by two other men was successful in rescuing the child. He grabbed the child from the roof cover and handed the baby to a man inside the apartment.
A group of people are also seen standing down with a bedsheet and the mattress to rescue the child in case she fell.
“She fell when the mother was nursing her. The video and the rescue are genuine. We have not received any formal complaint. The child is doing fine,” said Avadi Police Commissioner, Shankar.
Another social media user has posted an update about the child’s medical condition to eager netizens. The child’s condition is said to be perfectly normal much to the relief of everyone.
