Sam Asghari Will Not Get A Cent from Britney Spears Upcoming Memoir ‘The Woman In Me’

Britney’s ex husband Sam Asghari won’t get a cent from the $15 million which she has been paid for her upcoming memoir ‘The Woman in Me.’

Britney Spears, 41, is all set to release her autobiography ‘The Woman in Me’ on 24 October that will shed light into her life, in her own narrative.

An insider told Page 6 that Sam will not profit from Britney’s book even if his name is mentioned in the book or if details of their divorce is revealed.

‘The Woman in Me’ will be “a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope”, according to a press release from Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

Sam Asghari filed for a divorce from Britney on 16th August citing “irreconcilable differences”; just 14 months after marriage. This news came as a shock to the world as their Instagram profiles revealed otherwise.

The reasons for the separation is not known yet.

As per reports Sam had stopped wearing his wedding ring months ahead of the divorce.

Since the divorce a lot of shocking details have been emerging concerning the couple’s lives.

In 'Britney Spears: Divorce and Despair’ which aired on Fox recently,  it has been said that the couple had a violent altercation which resulted in Spears suffering from a major head injury.

According to TMZ founder Harvey Levin the couple were having a violent fight in a hotel room.

“She and Sam were going at it in a hotel room, and it got so bad [that] she tripped and hit the coffee table, cracking her head open," Levin claimed. "She needed stitches.”

This news hasn’t been confirmed by either party though.

A lot has been going on in the pop singer’s controversial life. The upcoming memoir will delve deep into her journey and will emphasize “the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms”.
