Sam Asghari Spotted at A SAG AFTRA Strike in California Post Britney Breakup
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have decided to end their marriage of 14 months, with Asghari initiating divorce proceedings, citing irreconcilable differences.
Sam Asghari, who is in the headlines after his divorce from Britney came to light, was spotted at the ‘The Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists’ (SAG AFTRA) strike.
He’s protesting for the rights of thousands of actors and writers.
Dressed in a black tank T-shirt, matching trousers and a black hat, he was seen marching on Thursday near the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.
As per sources, after his split from Spears, the actor will be devoting his time to his acting career.
When asked about his divorce, during the march he replied, “We're not here to talk about my personal life.”
He added, “We're here to raise awareness for my brothers and sisters working hard and striking for my future. And I hope everything gets resolved very fast, and we can all go back to what we love doing the most, which is making art and inspiring people.”
He also shared at the moment he is jobless because of the strike.
He remarked, “I have the same number of jobs as Leonardo DiCaprio right now” indicating that the ‘Titanic’ actor was also jobless superficially.
Sam and his fellow members haven’t been working since the strike commenced on July 13.
“I mean, that's the point of the strike,” Asghari noted.
Sam has appeared in shows like Black Monday, Hacks, Special Ops: Lioness, and The Family Business, among others.
He recently took to his Instagram handle to announce his separation from Britney citing “irreconcilable differences”
He wrote, “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together.” He continued, "We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other. And I wish her the best always.”
The couple were married for fourteen months.
