Raj Kundra Arrested in Mumbai in Connection with Porn Videos

Actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has been arrested on Monday by the Mumbai Police in connection with pornographic films. 

The case involves creation of porn films and publishing them through apps. He’s said to be the key conspirator. The case was registered against him with the Mumbai crime branch. According to the police they have sufficient evidence against him however further investigations are in progress. 

“There was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this,” the Mumbai Police Commissioner said in a statement.

The police have busted a racket wherein a film Production Company creates videos of women on the pretext of giving them a break in films. The content is further uploaded to porn sites and mobile apps. Five people have been arrested in connection to the case. 

Latest reports suggest that Raj Kundra appeared before the Property Cell of Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch on Tuesday. He was also taken for medical examination at JJ Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday. 

Thereafter he was taken to the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s office. He will soon be produced before the court.

Raj Kundra who was a former co-owner of Rajasthan Royals was previously interrogated in an Indian Premier League (IPL) betting scandal back in 2013.
