Actress Shilpa Shetty has maintained a dignified silence since her husband’s case related to porn films came to the forefront.
She took a short break from social media after her husband Raj Kundra’s arrest.
On Thursday however, the actress shared a cryptic Instagram story that was infused with words filled with positivity.
The words appear to be from one of author James Thurber’s books.
The words read, “I take a deep breath, knowing that I'm lucky to be alive. I have survived challenges in the past and will survive challenges in the future. Nothing need distract me from living my life today.”
The actress has not taken any stand regarding Raj Kundra’s adult racket case. She has neither stood against him nor has she defended her husband.
It’s a known fact that Shilpa Shetty is fitness-oriented. Her workout and Yoga videos are pretty popular. She has her own fitness app which is dedicated to Yoga.
Even before her husband’s arrest, she shared a motivational post that read, “We may not always have the power to change what’s happening around us, but we can definitely control what happens within. That is possible only through Yoga. Give yourself the ability to calm the mind, reduce unwanted thoughts, centre your wandering attention, and improve your focus through Tratak Meditation.”
Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday in connection with porn films being published and distributed in apps. The police said that they have enough evidence to prove that he is the “key conspirator” in the case.
Meanwhile, Kundra’s lawyer claimed that vulgar content can’t be classified as porn in these films. Raj Kundra is seeking anticipatory bail. Eleven people have been arrested in this case including Mr Kundra’s close aid Ryan Thorpe.
Police have clarified that Shilpa Shetty has no role to play in this case. Her new film Priyadarshan's Hungama 2 - releases today.
