Kate Middleton Surprises Audiences with Her Piano Skills in A Eurovision Song Contest Cameo
The Princess of Wales surprised Eurovision fans last night as she took part in a short, instrumental piano performance in the opening sequence of the competition final.
Kate Middleton made a surprise entrance in the opening sequence for the Grand Final for this year's Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Looking elegant in a flowing royal blue one shouldered Jenny Packham gown, Kate was seen playing the piano in the Crimson Drawing Room of Windsor Castle. It was a pre recorded video that was shot earlier this month.
One can witness her impressive musical skills. She played a few bars of the Ukrainian group’s Kalush Orchestra’s ‘Stefania’ on the piano.
The tune was Ukraine’s winning song in the Eurovision song contest in 2022 from last year. It featured the Kalush orchestra singing Stefania in the iconic Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station in Kyiv.
This piece of music was specially created for Kate by Joe Price and Kojo Samuel.
This was done in support of Ukraine.
The Eurovision contest was held in Liverpool arena. Ukraine was the winner for the Eurovision 2022 song contest however it couldn’t hold the contest due to security concerns in Ukraine.
Twenty-six acts performed in the Liverpool arena. Irish television presenter Graham Norton, British actress Hannah Waddingham, Ukrainian TV star Julia Sanina, and British singer Alesha Dixon hosted the show.
