Friends and Colleagues Pay Their Last Respects to Actor and Director Satish Kaushik
Actor and Filmmaker Satish Kaushik's death on 9 March came as a shock to everyone as he recently attended famous lyricist Javed Akhtar’s Holi party on Tuesday. He appeared hale and hearty in the Holi pictures.

Satish was a fine actor. He played some famous characters like ‘Calender’ in Mr India, Manu Manek Mundra and advocate Sadhuram. He was well known for his comic timing.
He was also a producer, director, comedian and screenwriter. Mr Kaushik was an alumnus of National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India.
People from the industry described him as a warm, kind, loving and a gentle human being.
The actor was married to Shashi Kaushik in 1985.

Satish Kaushik suffered a heart attack while he was travelling in a car in Delhi. His body will be brought to Mumbai on Thursday.
