“Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love.
And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.”
Within hours Courteney Cox also wrote her tribute alongside a clip from the series: “When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now here's one of my favourites.”
Giving a little background about the scene she said, “Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one-night fling in London. But because of the audience's reaction, it became the beginning of their love story.”
“In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind.”
Perry wrote in his memoir ‘Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing’, that although he found Courteney Cox extremely beautiful, they never really dated.
Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc were the first cast members to post their tributes since the passing away of the actor on October 28. Jennifer Aniston hasn’t paid any tribute yet and some reports suggest that the actress is struggling due to the loss.
Earlier this month, Matthew Perry was buried in a star studded grave site which is located at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Close family and friends including ‘FRIENDS’ cast members Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox were in attendance.
