Diljit Dosanjh Kicks Off His Dil-Luminati Tour in Delhi, Audience Are Impressed with His Lively Performance
Punjabi artist Diljit Dosanjh has entertained the audience at the Dil-Luminati Tour in Delhi with his magnificent two hour performance.
Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has officially kicked off the Dil-Luminati Tour in Delhi, India. He entertained audiences thoroughly for two hours at the packed Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi which consisted of nearly 40,000 fans.
The popular singer and actor captivated the masses through his heartwarming gestures. He even wrapped the Indian flag around himself. He engaged in heartfelt conversations with the vibrant Delhi crowd. The singer was heard saying that India is home!
The enthusiastic crowd kept cheering for the world famous punjabi artist throughout the event, as Diljit entertained them with many peppy punjabi numbers, on the brightly lit stage.
He acknowledged in front of them that he respects all Indian languages: Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi, but also admitted that Punjabi holds special significance as it is his mother tongue.
The singer said, “When I was born, my mother spoke Punjabi. The first word I learned was Punjabi. In our country, there are many different languages and I have immense respect for all of them, whether it’s Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, each one deserves great respect. But because my mother speaks Punjabi, I also speak in Punjabi.”

Diljit travelled around the globe before coming to India. The actor generally keeps his life private, however, in the Manchester tour he introduced his mother and sister to the audience. The people in the concert were greatly touched by this act.

The Dil-Luminati Tour will take place in ten major cities before concluding in Guwahati in December.
Besides being a singer, Diljit is also an actor. He’s acted in movies like Good Newzz, Amar Singh Chamkila, Crew and Jatt and Juliet 3.
