Punjabi Singer Diljit Dosanjh Receives Notice ahead of His Concert in Hyderabad
The Telangana government has issued a notice to Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, ahead of his much- anticipated Hyderabad concert, directing him not to sing songs that promote drugs, alcohol and violence. There are also restrictions regarding bringing children on stage.
Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is all set to perform in Hyderabad today as part of his Dil-Luminati tour across India.
Ahead of the much-anticipated show, the Telangana government issued a notice directing him not to sing songs that promote drugs, alcohol and violence.
The notice also restricted the presence of children on stage.
“According to World Health Organisation (WHO) adults should not be exposed to a sound with a peak sound pressure level above 140 db. For children, the sound level is reduced to 120 dB. Therefore children should not be used on stage during peak live show where peak sound level is above 120 db,” the Telangana govt notice read.
Earlier, the singer performed in Delhi and Jaipur. In addition to these, the singer will perform in eight more Indian cities continuing to bring the magic of the Dil-Luminati tour to fans across the country.
Another video posted on social media showed Diljit Dosanjh in Hyderabad on Saturday. He visited the Charminar and offered prayers in a Gurdwara.
The Indian leg of the Dil-Lumanti tour began in October in Delhi. He performed in the city of Jaipur as well. He will continue to captivate audiences in a few more cities before his tour finally comes to a close.

His concert commences today at 7 pm at GMR Arena, Airport Approach Road, Hyderabad.
