The gruesome murder of a 16 year old girl in Delhi has shaken up the nation. The incident took place in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area. The horrific murder was captured by a nearby security camera.
The youth named Sahil repeatedly stabbed Sakshi over 20 times before smashing her head with a stone. He again returns and kicks her several times.
The 20 year old accused works as a fridge and an AC mechanic.
The police are investigating the real cause of why Sahil murdered Sakshi. Sources said that the both were in a relationship for the past three years. He was distressed by Sakshi’s decision to end their relationship.
What makes this case so gruesome is the confidence with which he committed the crime in a busy lane where many people were passing by. No one dared to stop Sahil while he was indulging in the beastly act. Viewers are clearly shocked to witness his rage on camera. It is unimaginable how a 20 year old youth could behave in such a ghastly manner.
The footage shows the boy kept kicking her and slamming a cement slab on her.
He was finally nabbed from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening.
The murder weapon hasn’t been recovered yet. After the murder, the accused went to Rithala area where he discarded the weapon. “We found that he went to Rithala after the incident to dump the weapon. After this, he switched off his phone and boarded a bus to Bulandshahr. He went to his aunt’s place and was later traced with the help of technical surveillance,” an officer said.
Sahil has confessed to the crime and admitted that it was he who was in the camera footage. He showed no remorse. He is in police custody and investigations are underway.
Current chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal said all limits have been crossed and she has never seen anything more horrifying in her career.
