The web series, directed by Collin D'Cunha, is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra and written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair.
Ananya recently shared the poster of the upcoming series on her Insta profile and mentioned its release date.
The poster’s appeal has resonated with the audience as it has received much love from the online community.

The eight episode series follows the life of Bae, played by Ananya, who upon being downsized realises that her most valuable assets are not her diamonds but her street smartness and style.
"Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self," the makers said in a press release.
She overcomes various stereotypes to discover who she really is.
‘Call Me Bae’ also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur in key roles.
The upcoming series will begin streaming from September 6 on Amazon Prime Video.
