‘I Divorce You’ Says Princess of Dubai’, Announces Divorce Through Instagram Post #InstaDivorce
Princess Shaikha Mahra of Dubai announced her divorce from Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed on Instagram, citing his preoccupation with other companions. The couple, married for a year, have removed each other’s photos from Instagram, raising speculation about the announcement's authenticity.
The Princess of Dubai, Shaikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of Dubai’s ruler, has divorced her husband Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, on Insta.
She took to her IG profile and wrote, “Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”

Netizens have noticed that the couple do not follow each other on Instagram. They have also deleted photos of each other on their respective IG profiles. It is also being speculated that her account could have been hacked.
The couple got engaged in March 2023 and married in May in an extravagant wedding ceremony. The wedding reception was held in June. The couple celebrated their honeymoon in the Greek islands of Mykonos.
A few days ago, the Princess shared a post where she’s seen cradling her baby in her arms, while she captioned the post, “Just the two of us.” Many users assumed that the photograph was a subtle signal that things were not going well for the couple. The baby was born just a year after their marriage.

Shaikha Mahra is the daughter of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She is one of the 26 children of the Dubai ruler. Her mother Zoe Grigorakos is of Greek origin. The princess is proud of her mixed heritage and she’s often seen posing alongside her mother and sharing those snaps on Insta. Her parents, however, are divorced.
Shaikha Mahra holds a degree in International Relations from a university in the UK and also has a college degree from the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Administration. She is a strong advocate for women’s empowerment and supports the local designers.
