Woman and Daughter Killed in Bengaluru When Concrete Mixer Truck Fell on Their Car
A woman and her daughter were killed in a shocking road mishap in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The victims were identified as Gayathri Kumar, 46, and Samatha,15. They were residents of Concorde Napa Valley.
A woman and her daughter were killed in a shocking road mishap in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
A cement mixer truck lost balance and fell on their car killing both of them.
The incident occurred at Kaggalipura near Bannerghatta Road.
The victims were identified as Gayathri Kumar, 46, and Samatha,15. They were residents of Concorde Napa Valley.
Gayatri worked with a private IT firm. Samatha was a class X student of Sherwood High in Basavanapura, Bannerghatta main road.
The mother was driving the car to leave her daughter to school when the concrete mixer truck which was coming from the opposite direction lost control and overturned.
As per reports the mother and daughter were inside the car for a long time. The bodies were recovered with the help of four cranes and a JCB.
The driver of the cement truck mixer is absconding. Investigations on this case are underway.
