Will Linda Yaccaroni Become The New CEO of Twitter ?

Elon Musk announced on Thursday that Twitter will be getting a new CEO soon however he didn’t name the person. 

Reports suggest that Linda Yaccarino who is the head of advertising at NBCUniversal will become the new CEO of Twitter. 

Musk says that it will take six weeks for the new Twitter CEO to step in. 

Yaccarino interviewed Musk at an advertising conference in Miami last month and praised him for all his work policies. 

Linda hails from a non tech background and she is a prominent face in the media industry. It is for the first time a person from a non tech industry will be leading the company. 

Linda had worked for a long period at WarnerMedia’s TV operations before joining NBCUniversal. She takes care of the company’s global advertising, global ad sales activities and partnership businesses. 

Linda Yaccarino has taken effective steps to expand NBC Universal’s revenue streams.

She was a key person in the launch of the company’s ad supported Peacock streaming service. 

Yaccarino’s Linkedin page suggests that she has completed her education in liberal arts and communication from Penn State University. 

In 2022 she was named one of the Top 100 Female Executive Heroes by NBCUniversal Media LLC. 

The chairman of NBCUniversal Media has also collaborated with former President of America Donald Trump and this could be a big reason why Elon chose her. It is not unknown that Elon has been close to the Republicans in America. It is left to be seen how the prominent figure in the world of advertising and media performs when she takes up the crucial new role of the CEO Chief of Twitter.
