West Hollywood Declares ‘Stormy Daniels’ Day’, Adult Star Gets Key to the City

The city of California in West Hollywood will be celebrating ‘Stormy Daniels Day’ on every 23rd May from now on. Yesterday, the adult film star was given the key to the city in a public event.

Every move of Stormy Daniels is making the news these days. And this time she earned a whole day in her name, proclaimed officially in front of the adult retail store of Chi Chi La Rue. Guests present at the event were West Hollywood Mayor John J. Duran, Mayor Pro Tempore John D'Amico, members of the West Hollywood City Council and Ms. Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti.

After Mayor Duran presented the key to Daniels the middle-aged adult star opened her speech with a joke, “I’m not really sure what the key opens, I’m hoping it's the wine cellar.”

Media and a bunch of photographers gathered around to cover this event, and many in the crowd were shouting and throwing questions at her mentioning the US President Donald Trump. But, Ms. Daniels chose not to take any question from the crowd. Instead, she delivered her own speech, “The City of West Hollywood is a truly special place very close to my heart, and I would like to thank Mayor John Duran and the entire West Hollywood City Council for this incredible honor," she said. "And, of course, the one and only Chi Chi La Rue for hosting us today. As a woman with two wonderful gay dads, [father Keith Munyan, and his partner J.D. Barrale], I feel especially at home here.”

Stormy Daniels, whose original name is Stephanie Clifford is given this honor for her efforts in raising voice against President Donald Trump. Ms. Daniels who is an adult entertainment star came into the limelight after her affair with Trump surfaced. The adult star more than once spoke out to the media about the physical relationship she had with the current President during 2006, that eventually brought in front the non-disclosure agreement and the payment of $130,000 by Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen.

However, Stormy Daniels is surely happy with this honor, as she was all smiles throughout the day. This is what her lawyer Avenatti spoke about Daniels, “Let me tell you a little bit about Stormy Daniels, Stormy is one of the most intelligent, self-aware, courageous people you will ever come to know in your lifetime. I am honored and blessed to act as her counsel each and every day. This woman has a degree of fortitude that most of us can only dream about, and we are very, very happy and very, very blessed that she is at the forefront of this fight each and every day.”
