US Women Held for Selling Newborn Baby on Facebook
Women caught trying to sell newborn baby in Texas. Charged $30,000 from the new parents and posts on Facebook
A woman from Texas, identified as Juniper Bryson was found guilty of trying to sell her newborn baby in a Facebook group called “Birth Mothers Looking for Adoptive Parents”. In her post, she was looking for someone who would like to adopt her unborn son. However, currently, she is charged with a felony for selling the baby for $30,000.
Bryson approached a family a day before she posted the message on Facebook for adoption. She also directed that the baby will be drug-positive. Moreover, she demanded a net of $30,000 in exchange for the baby. "It's not even like that, just enough to move into an apartment so I can work a job and get (my daughter) back, or a cheap down payment, or any car to get to different places to DoorDash. Nothing crazy at all," Bryson informed the family.
Bryson spoke to several other parents including same-sex couples. Moreover, some drove to Bryson’s house but backed out when she demanded money. She demanded $150 and then an additional $25 for a food delivery.
Wendy Williams stayed with Bryson when she went into labor who claimed "I felt a connection as if he were biologically mine." She further saw Bryson having withdrawals from the usual drugs she would consume. "I just thought this was someone who was in a really bad position," claimed Wendy. "The drugs had overtaken, and she just wanted to get better." According to the court documents, Bryson allowed Williams and her husband to name the baby. Moreover, she also posted a picture on Facebook claiming her baby found a new home.
Viewers of the photo criticized Williams for buying the baby and lashed out at Bryson for posting such a picture.
