UP Woman Kills Husband of Karwa Chauth after Serving Him Poisoned Macroni for Dinner

Karwa Chauth is a deity celebration for the betterment of the husbands and their prosperity. Millions of married women follow this as a part of their culture and long-lived tradition. However, a woman killed her husband after fasting for Karwa Chauth. She suspected her husband of having an affair.

His wife poised Sailesh Kumar, aged 32 of Kaushambi on the night of Karwa Chauth. Savita was suspecting her husband of having an affair with another woman which led her to the heinous crime. On the day of Karwa Chauth, Savita fasted for the day for her husband's long life. Likewise, Sailesh was also busy keeping up his efforts.

It was evening when Savita broke her fast, they engaged in a conflict that later got eliminated. Both of the couple ate together and later Savita asked Sailesh to pick something from their neighbour's house. As soon as Sailesh left, Savita fled the spot. meanwhile, Sailesh’s health deteriorated, and Sailesh was transferred to a local hospital where he was declared dead.

Sailesh shared a narrated video where he was seen claiming that his wife had poisoned the food they ate. Soon after the incident, Savita was nabbed and arrested. Brijesh Kumar Srivastava from Kaushambi police station claimed that The crime was reported from Ismailpur village. “ The woman allegedly poisoned her husband after they fought. The man died during treatment. A case has been registered, the woman has been arrested and the body has been sent for a post-mortem."
