Sahil was selling wallets in 2009 when a poster of a model captured his attention. That’s when he realized he wanted to enter the glamorous world of modelling.
He experienced the joy of modelling when he first walked the ramp for his school in 2012.
“Since 2017, I have been gathering knowledge on how I can break into the industry,” he told Hindustan Times.
After completing his schooling, Sahil took up various jobs to survive in Mumbai.
He worked in Swiggy as a delivery agent. Besides, he took up many other jobs like working in Burger King Kitchen to earn an income of Rs.18,000 to Rs. 22,000 per month.
After struggling for five years, he got his first modelling contract. He went through 200 auditions before landing a contract with Streax.

“My height is 5 feet 10 inches. This is on the lower end for a model in India. Even with Streax, I had to request them repeatedly to let me walk the ramp. They agreed on the condition that I wear heels.”
