The Golden Globe Awards: Emilia Perez, The Brutalist, And Shogun Emerge As Big Winners

The 82nd edition of the Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on January 5.

The Golden Globes celebrates talent and excellence in work in both films and television.

Famous comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the show and made history by becoming the first woman to solo host it.

The presenters for this year's Golden Globes include Andrew Garfield, Anthony Mackie, Anthony Ramos, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ariana DeBose, Aubrey Plaza, Auli i Cravalho, Awkwafina, Brandi Carlile, Catherine O'Hara, Demi Moore, Dwayne Johnson.

Emilia Perez, The Brutalist, and Shogun emerged as the biggest winners! French Musical Comedy Emilia Perez won in the following categories: Best Supporting Actress for Zoe Saldana, Best Original Song, Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy, and Best Non English Language Film. It bagged 10 nominations.

Actress Demi Moore won her first acting award in a career spanning five decades. She won the Golden Globe for body-horror movie The Substance.

Payal Kapadia’s film, All We Imagine As Light, was nominated in the best foreign film category while she was nominated in the best director category. However, the team missed out on the awards.
