Singer Beyonce Steals the Show at Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s Pre-Wedding Bash

In the past few days, news around big fat Indian weddings was doing the rounds in media. It doesn’t stop here though. Indian weddings are not only grabbing the attention of the Indian public, but also the masses worldwide. This Sunday night singer Beyonce took the centre stage in the pre-wedding bash of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal in Udaipur. Social media is abuzz with news of Beyonce’s performance at the lavish pre-wedding bash.
It is believed that Beyonce was flown in along with other personalities such as Hillary Clinton in chartered flights. She danced to the beat of several chartbuster songs including the song ‘Perfect’ in the Sangeet ceremony which was held at Udaipur’s ‘The Oberoi Udaivilas’ hotel.
Beyonce looked stunning in a bright red gown with a thigh-high slit with ‘gotta patti’ details. It was designed by none other than Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani who’ve become pretty popular this wedding season. Beyonce also shared a short boomerang video on her Instagram page of her performance in the pre-wedding bash in which she’s sporting a golden tasseled dress teamed up with knee length boots. In another image, she’s seen sporting a maroon bodysuit embedded with beads and pearls.
The ‘Halo’ singer attended the bash along with her mother. She even uploaded a picture of her mother in a saree on social media and captioned it with these lines, "In India, and just attended a spectacular event leading up to a wedding. I love all the exquisite beading and beautiful colors. People so warm and gracious!!”
Even though Beyonce’s dance was the highlight of the pre-wedding bash, other celebrities added to the charm of the bash. Former US First Lady Hillary Clinton, Steel Tycoon Lakshmi Mittal, media giant Arianna Huffington, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra- Nick Jonas, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, John Abraham, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif were some of the prominent personalities in the guest list.
From Bollywood, King Khan danced his way with Gauri Khan to the tune of Dilliwali Girlfriend from the movie ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. Abishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai also danced to the tune of a song from their 2007 film ‘Guru’. After the wedding festivities, the families left for Mumbai on Sunday night.
This season Indian weddings have become the talk of the town, each of them garnering immense attention and fame. It all began with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding in Lake Como, Italy and then we had the beautiful ‘Nickyanka’ wedding in the plush Udaipur Palace and now we have the upcoming Ambani wedding. Being the daughter of India’s richest man who is tying the knot to another millionaire, there’s no doubt that the celebration will be on a grand scale. The Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding is scheduled to take place on December 12 in Ambani's private residence.
