Series of Events to Derail Trains by Anti-nationals. Sparks Immense Safety Concerns for Passengers
Many attempts are being made to derail trains throughout India. Gujrat trackman finds fishplates and keys lying on tracks. Prompt action saves many passengers from damage.
Anti-national groups tried derailing a train in Gujrat as fish plates and keys were found lying on the tracks The incident was averted by the alert trackman who was inspecting the rail track. Kim junction trackman was checking the tracks at around 5 am when he noticed certain objects on the train tracks. After informing the station master and RPF, normal operations were restored.
A similar series was followed on 10th September in Rajasthan when two blocks, each weighing around 100 kg were placed on the tracks. Fortunately, the attempt to derail the train failed even after a train hit the block. Officials informed that no damages were caused.
On the 9th of September Bhiwani-Prayagraj Kalindi Express was attempted to derail by a group of men that used LPG cylinders, petrol, and, matchboxes to cause damage to the train. The quick and prompt action of the loco pilot helped avert the major accident. Upon investigation of the place, gunpowder, and explosives were also found.
Such incidents have increased and over the past few years, train derailments have become extremely common. Mostly the anti-nationals are being suspected behind these crimes. On August 17th Sabarmati Express was derailed and at least 20 coaches were affected. As per reports, the boulder was placed on the tracks which caused the derailment of the train.
Indian railways are attempting every safety precaution so that passengers can commute in comfort. However, constant efforts by the anti-national groups and the large area of network owned by Indian Railways is further making this a challenging task to monitor every move.
