Second Nuclear-Powered Submarine to be Commissioned from Visakhapatnam, Defense to Get Stronger

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Arrived at Visakhapatnam to commission a new Ship Submersible Ballistic Nuclear discreetly. His arrival was not informed because of the high security and hiding the announcement of the submarine. The Submarine was commissioned on 29th August by secret shipbuilders located at the cost of Vishakhapatnam.
INS Arighat is said to help India reach par with other countries in terms of Nuclear power. India will demonstrate its strength on the coast. Arighat will be succeeding INS Arihant which was commissioned in the year 2016. INS Arigaht is also tagged as “Destroyer of Enemy” because of the strength it possesses. The submarine can successfully launch the missiles on water, air, and land.
INS Arighat is more sophisticated than its predecessor as it is 1200 meters in length and carries close to 6000 tonnes in weight. The Sub is equipped with 10 K-15 nuclear-tipped submarine-launched ballistic missiles which have a long range of 750 km. INS Arighat can travel at a speed of 15 Knots at the surface and close to 25 knots when traveling submersible.
The sub does not need to surface frequently to replenish the batteries but can go deeper and silent without any issues. Another Ship Submersible Ballistic Nuclear is under construction which will weigh close to 7000 tonnes and will have multiple launch tubes. It is said that the new sub will be even more powerful and stealthier.
