Robert De Niro Sued, by His Own Ex-Assistant!
Veteran American actor, director and producer, Robert De Niro is sued by his ex-assistant, after the actor sued her in a different lawsuit. Here’s more!
Robert De Niro has been sued by his ex-assistant Graham Chase Robinson, after the actor himself filed a lawsuit against the same employee. While, De Niro’s lawsuit alleges Graham for exploiting her financial power at work and spending “astounding hours of TV shows on Netflix” on duty, Graham has accused the ‘Godfather II’ actor of gender discrimination and more.
The veteran American actor, director and producer filed his lawsuit in August, in New York state court, and his demands are: “This lawsuit seeks economic damages from a disloyal employee who, despite being in a trusted position, repeatedly and methodically abused her position to misappropriate her employer’s funds and property for her personal gain.”
On the other hand, filed this Thursday, Graham’s lawsuit accuses Niro of, abusive and sexist comments, overtime work without adequate pay, ‘bad recommendation’ threats etc. She also mentions, how she was asked to perform jobs that were not commensurate with her designation, be “on call” all the time and more. The former employee has demanded $12 million including attorney fee, and Niro’s lawsuit wants at least $6 million in damages.
Recently, ‘Joker’ has hit the theatres where actor Robert De Niro shares screen space alongside Joaquin Phoenix. However, it remains to be seen, how De Niro, real-life courtroom drama turns out to be!
