Robert Card Kills 22 And Injures Sixty Others in A Mass Shooting Spree in Maine, US

A mass shooting has taken place in Lewiston, Maine in which 22 people lost their lives and 60 others were injured. 

The incident took place late on Wednesday. 

Robert Card has been identified as the main suspect behind the killings. 

The shooting spree took place in a bowling alley, at least one other location, a local bar and a restaurant. 

Robert Card was seen driving a White Subaru after the shooting took place. 

Police posted a photo of the suspect on Facebook. He could be seen carrying a semi automatic style weapon inside a bowling alley. 

Robert Card is a firearms instructor in the US Army Reserve who reportedly had mental health issues. 

He was in a mental health facility for two weeks in summer 2023. According to law enforcement, Card used to hear voices and threatened to shoot up the National Guard Base in Saco, ME. 

He has been arrested in the past for domestic violence. 

The law enforcement has stated that the suspect should be considered to be “armed and dangerous.”

The Maine police have launched a massive operation to catch the culprit and have advised residents to stay indoors.
