Queen Elizabeth’s coffin was transported from the royal’s family home in Balmora on September 11.
The coffin has arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the queen’s residence in Scotland.
It took about six hours for the hearse carrying the Queen’s coffin to reach Edinburgh - Scotland’s capital.
Thousands of people lined the roads and tossed flowers on the road to bid farewell to the Queen on her last journey.
The late queen’s coffin was draped in the Royal Standard of Scotland and topped with a wreath made of flowers from Balmoral. The wreath was made of some of her favourite flowers.
Tomorrow the procession will move towards St Giles’ Cathedral, where the coffin will lie at rest to allow the people of Scotland to pay their respects.
The coffin will then be moved to London on Wednesday (September 14) after which it will lie in state in London for people to pay their last respects ahead of her funeral on Monday (September 19).
Meanwhile, BBC reported that Prince William extended an invitation to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to go on the walkabout where the foursome inspected the floral tributes which were laid outside the Windsor palace gates dedicated to Queen Elizabeth.
The royal couples went through the messages, shook hands, and chatted with the general crowd in the 40-minute walkabout.
Sources told Daily Mail that King Charles in a phone call told Prince William to set aside their ongoing cold war ahead of the funeral.
