Priyanka Chopra Teams up with Kate Winslet for HBO Max’s ‘A World of Calm’

Priyanka tweeted on Tuesday morning, “Excited to join such an amazing group of “calming” voices for HBO Max's Calm series, A World of Calm. Coming 1 October.”
The two actors would join the likes of Mahershala Ali, Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz, Lucy Liu, Cillian Murphy, and Keanu Reeves in narrating episodes that would ultimately become “sleep stories” in the ‘Calm’ app.
There would be a total of ten episodes and each story would include imagery, engineered narratives, enchanting music, and footage that would work in tandem to attain its objective of calming your mind and taking you into a world of tranquility.
‘Calm’ which is the world’s number one meditative app joins hands with ‘Nutopia’ which is the team behind Nat Geo’s critically acclaimed series ‘ One Strange Rock’ to bring viewers this ten episode series.
The show is co-produced with Calm and Nutopia with Jane Root, Nicola Moody, Michael Acton Smith and Chris Advansun are the executive producers, and Sara Brailsford and Fiona Caldwell as co-executive producers.
The stories range from a noodle maker’s shop in Seattle to the outer reaches of space. This is truly a great initiative by the makers of the show to merge the entertainment world with the world of health.
The going seems to be great for PeeCee as she has been listed by Variety as one of the top contenders for the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ at the Oscars in the coming year.
There are high chances that she may take home an Oscar for her work in the film ‘The White Tiger’ on Netflix. The movie is based on the debut novel by the same name by Indian author Aravind Adiga.
Some of Priyanka’s movies that are in the pipeline are Matrix4, Citadel, and Netflix’s superhero film- We Can Be Heroes. She has co-produced an upcoming Amazon movie called the ‘Evil Eye’ through her production house- Purple Pebble Pictures.
