Priyanka Chopra Releases Her First Look from ‘The Matrix Resurrections’

Actress Priyanka Chopra shared the first poster of ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ featuring her character on her Insta profile. 

She would be playing a key role in the upcoming sci-fi movie that stars big names like Keanu Reeves and Jada Pinkett. 

Dressed in rust and a blue coloured ensemble, you can catch Priyanka in a totally new and captivating avatar.

‘The Matrix Resurrections’ features Keanu Reeves as Neo, Carrie –Anne Moss as Trinity, and Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe.

While Priyanka’s role hasn’t been confirmed yet, going by the new poster looks like Priyanka plays a prominent role. 

While there are speculations about Priyanka’s role, rest assured that she’ll do justice to whatever character she slips into. 

There are speculations that Priyanka would be playing the role of Sati due to her look that appears similar to Sati’s in the previous ‘The Matrix’ film. 

The upcoming film is produced and written by Lana Wachowski. The shooting of the sci-fi project began under the code name ‘Project Ice Cream’ however on March 16, 2020; the production was halted due to the pandemic. 

Wachowski desired to shelve the film and let it “go down as an incomplete legendary film not meant to be seen by anyone. The cast however insisted on the completion of the film.

‘The Matrix Resurrections’ will have its world premiere on December 18, 2021 in San Francisco. The film was to release on May 21, 2021 however the date was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now all set to release on December 22.
