The trailer of Baz Luhrmann’s most awaited film ‘Elvis’ is out. 

The entertaining trailer gives us a peek into the dynamic life of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. 

Actor Austin Butler is embodying the legendary artist and going by the trailer, he’s done an amazing job. 

Giving him company is Oscar winner Tom Hanks who is taking on the role of Elvis’s manager Tom Parker.

As the trailer begins you can hear Colonel Tom Parker narrating in the teaser. 

“There are some who make me out to be the villain of this here story,” Tom says. 

He continues: “Are you born with destiny? Or does it just come knocking at your door? At that moment I watched that skinny boy transform into a superhero. He was my destiny.”

You can catch young Elvis gearing up to perform on stage when he gets taunted by an audience member for his hairstyle in front of live audience that comprised of numerous young women. 

Ignoring the embarrassing taunt, he goes on to give one of his best performances. The women in the audience are evidently awe-struck by his charm and performance. 

The trailer is infused with numerous electrifying stage performances by the artist. 

There are various scenes throughout the trailer that highlight different phases of the singer’s life such as his career, his marriage, his  rise in his career  during the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X and how every event affected his psyche.

The Warner Bros. movie will delve deep into Elvis’s  musical and personal journey  that captivates people to this day. It will explore his complicated relationship with manager Parker who discovered and promoted him. The film will also cover one of the most significant person in his life, his beautiful wife Priscilla Presley played by Olivia DeJonge.

Austin used his own voice for young Elvis. He underwent voice coaching for a year before they began shooting. Speaking of Presley’s films and concerts, Austin said, “I feel such a responsibility to Elvis and to [ex-wife] Priscilla and [daughter] Lisa Marie, and all the people around the world who love him so much.”

The trailer is promising and there are high expectations from the film. Audiences worldwide have given a big thumbs up to the film.

Luhrmann called the king of rock ‘n’ roll’s tale a “great canvas to explore America.”

‘Elvis’ is all set to release on 24 June.
