Morgan Freeman Accused of Inappropriate Behavior and Sexual Harassment

One of Hollywood’s most revered and popular actors, Morgan Freeman has been recently accused of inappropriate behavior at work. Few of his female colleagues open up some dirty secrets.

Every true film buff has his or her fair amount of respect for this veteran actor of Hollywood. He has mesmerized us with his extraordinary acting skills and that unforgettable voice. Now such a brilliant personality is being blamed for harassing women.

A woman from the team of the film ‘Going in Style’ (2015) has allegedly accused Morgan Freeman of sexual misconduct during the shooting of the film. Reportedly, Freeman used to try to touch her, especially her lower back. Even, he tried to lift her skirt several times, although wasn’t successful at it. Freeman used to ask her whether she’s wearing an underwear. The lady said that she moved away whenever he tried to touch her or her lower back, but then again, he’ll repeat it.

The film also starred Michael Caine and Alan Arkin. When Arkin observed what’s going on he asked Freeman to stop, “Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn't know what to say.”, said the woman.

The lady, who chose to stay anonymous, shared, that initially when she became a part of the project was very happy and excited to get that break, but in no time, her first big break turned out to be a pathetic experience for her.

However, this isn’t the only time that Morgan Freeman has been accused of harassment charges. During the shooting of the blockbuster film ‘Now You See Me’ one senior production member and her assistant complained of something similar. They said that Freeman used to comment on their bodies and clothes.

As per a report by CNN, the woman crew member revealed, “He did comment on our bodies... We knew that if he was coming by ... not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted,”.

Such allegations against an Oscar-winning actor, who has contributed so much to Hollywood and world cinema, is extremely disappointing and, once again raises questions on women’s position in the industry as well as society. After all those revelations about Hollywood Mogul Harvey Weinstein and his deeds, the #metoo movement, the bold speeches by actresses and Weinstein’s surrender news, such shameful accounts are no less than a threat to our civilization.
