Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are on cloud number nine as the couple are expecting their first baby in January 2021. They shared the good news on social media platforms last month and received an outpour of wishes on becoming new parents.
This Sunday the actress shared a beautiful snapshot of herself and the baby bump is visible. Standing on a beach, the ‘soon-to-be-mom’ is seen lovingly gazing and gently holding her baby bump. Without a doubt, the actress dressed in white and blue is glowing and looks radiant in the shot.

Anushka coupled the snapshot with a thought-provoking caption that read, “Nothing is more real and humbling than experiencing creation of life in you. When this is not in your control then really what is?” Hubby dearest dropped a sweet comment on her post that read, “My whole world in one frame.”
Last month the pair broke the good news by sharing a pic of themselves and captioning the post with these lines: “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
Anushka proved herself as an actress by portraying varied characters and didn’t stick to only mainstream roles. As she kept evolving, she took up projects that had substance, and that had something to say about our society. As Priya Gupta from The Times of India puts it, the ‘PK’ actress took up unconventional roles amidst a male-dominated industry and yet her fan base kept growing which is incredible.
She has proved herself as a producer too. Both her projects ‘Bulbul’ on Netflix and ‘Paatal Lok’ on Amazon Prime did very well exploring important topics.
Speaking of working with her brother as a producer Anushka said, “Karnesh and I aren’t scared storytellers. We make each project thinking we have nothing to lose. We are non-conformists and that’s what has really, really helped us to explore and create. It is a huge milestone moment for us at Clean Slate Filmz because both Pataal Lok and now Bulbbul have got great reviews and janta ka appreciation,” she told PTI.
Like all the roles she’s played, we can vouch that Mrs. Kohli will make a wonderful mother too. As for Virat, he’s very excited to play the father’s part and he summed it up by saying, “It is an incredible feeling. It puts things into perspective for you. It is a beautiful feeling. It is difficult to describe how you feel, but when we found it, we were over the moon.”
