Madhavan Celebrates Son’s Victory; Wins 5 Golds At The Malaysian Championship

His son Vedaant won not one but five gold medals at the championship.
Madhavan has always shared his son’s achievement with his followers.
Even this time, he took to Instagram, and wrote, “With God's grace and all your good wishes Vedaant gets 5 golds for India ( 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, and 1500m) with 2 PBs at the Malaysian invitational age group championships, 2023 held this weekend in Kuala Lumpur. Elated and very grateful.”
The actor also shared photographs of his son at the championship.
Previously Madhavan’s son won several medals at the Khelo India tournament 2023 where he represented the state of Maharashtra.
He won five gold medals in the 100m, 200m, and 150m events, as well as two silver medals in the 400m and 800m events.
Celebrating his victory Madhavan wrote, “Congratulations team Maharashtra for the two trophies. One for the boys team Maharashtra in swimming and 2nd the overall Championship Trophy for Maharashtra in the entire Khelo games. Blown by and very grateful and humbled by the performances and achievements of Apeksha Fernandes( 6 golds, 1 silver, PB, and records) and Vedaant Madhavan (5 golds and 2 silver). Thank you, Aqua Nation and Pradeep sir for the unwavering efforts and Govt of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji and Anurag Thakur Ji. So happy and Proud.
In 2022 Vedaant participated in the 48th Junior National Aquatics Championship. He became the first person in India to break the records of the 1500m freestyle by finishing the race within 16:01.73 seconds.
He had won 4 gold medals and 3 silver medals. He was then honoured by the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik.
