Singer Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of legendary singer Elvis Presley, passed away on Thursday. She was 54.

Singer Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of legendary singer Elvis Presley, passed away on Thursday. She was 54. 

She suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital. 

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," her mother, Priscilla Presley, said in a statement.

"She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss," the statement added.

Lisa was only four years old when her parents divorced and she was only nine years old when her father passed away. She was the sole heir to her father’s luxurious estate Graceland. 

She began her music career with her album “To Whom It May Concern.” It reached number 5 in the Billboard 200 albums chart. She released “Now What” in 2005 and ‘Storm and Grace’ in 2012. 

Lisa married four times.

The singer was married to Michael Jackson in 1994.

Presley appeared in Michael Jackson's "You Are Not Alone" video in June 1995.

The couple got divorced in 1996 while Jackson was battling child molestation charges. 

Lisa Marie was involved in many charity works. She was the chairman of the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation (EPCF). The foundation worked to uplift poor families and provided a platform for youngsters to pursue interests. 

She had four children. Her only son Benjamin Keough, died in 2020 at age 27.

She is survived by her three children Riley Keough,33, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, 14.
