Liam Hemsworth Advised to Speed up Divorce Proceedings with Miley Cyrus or Be Fined

The courts have ordered Liam Hemsworth to work on his divorce soon or face the consequences. What are the consequences, you may wonder! Well, the divorce may get dismissed or he may be fined. Apparently, Liam has delayed in producing the required paperwork and so the case is incomplete.

Liam and Miley announced their separation on August 10, 2019, after less than a year of being married. It is believed they were not on the same page on relationship matters. There were a lot of underlying issues which needed to be addressed but apparently they weren’t. Thus the couple decided to call it quits. Immediately after the separation was made public, Liam set the divorce procedures into motion. However, somewhere down the line things were not moving forward in the legal scene.

What could be the reason? Are they having second thoughts? Either Liam hasn’t sent the documents to Miley to be signed or perhaps Miley is taking her own sweet time to sign the papers. 

Whatever may be the reason, the courts aren’t happy about it. They have in no sweet terms advised Liam to "take the appropriate steps in your case" or they will throw it in the trash can. A hearing has been scheduled for this reason on January 21. If Liam fails to attend the hearing, he may have to cough up a fine. However, if his documents are filed on time then it will not be necessary for him to attend the hearing.

Liam wanted to have a quick divorce after he saw the pictures of Miley Cyrus and reality star Kaitlynn Carter during their vacation. However, his actions seem to be in opposite to what he desired. According to sources Miley was not expecting to file for divorce so quickly and she was a bit disappointed. But what can we say, life has a habit of throwing surprises and all we can do is catch them and move on.

Liam and Miley seem to have moved onto greener pastures. And the pastures seem to be pretty good. Cyrus has been dating singer Cody Simpson and Liam has slowly moved on to the dating scene. Right now he is dating Australian actress Maddison Brown. Both of them were seen last month in New York, holding hands. Since then rumors are rife that they are a couple. 

However, Maddison is playing safe by not making comments on their relationship. It seems like a good plan during these heartbreaking times. It seems she believes in the old adage, better safe than sorry.

Meanwhile, Liam has his family to back him. He has a strong supporter in his sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky who made headlines when she made a comment to Reporters at an event saying, "My brother-in-law, well…After a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down, but he's coping well, he's a strong boy and he deserves the best, I think he deserves much better,".
