KK’s Daughter Tamara Pens an Emotional Tribute on The Occasion of Father’s Day

On the occasion of father’s day, playback singer KK’s daughter Tamara, penned an emotional tribute to her father who passed away recently in Kolkata. 

Along with the tribute, she shared numerous photographs she clicked with her father over the years. 

“I would take the pain of losing you a 100 times, if it meant having you as my dad even for one second. Life is dark without you dad. You were the cutest, most loving dad, who’d come home after a gig and wait to come lie down and give us cuddles” she wrote. 

In the first picture you can see a young KK  carrying his son and daughter on his back. 

In the second click his daughter is seen seated on his lap whilst she’s playing with the piano keys.

In the father’s day post she further added, “You were the realness this world needed, and now that you’re gone, none of it feels real. But your unconditional love has unknowingly prepared us to handle, even something like this.

Your love is our strength.”

KK collapsed on 31st May 2022 while he was performing live at the Nazrul Mancha auditorium in Kolkata. After the concert, on his way back to the hotel he complained that he was feeling unwell. After reaching the hotel he suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed. There were unsuccessful attempts to revive him. He was then rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) hospital where he was declared dead. 

To rule out any foulplay his autopsy was videographed and the report stated that the likely cause of his death was myocardial infarction. He was suffering from pain in his arm and shoulder in the last few days mistaking it to be due to digestive issues. His report also stated that his heart had 80% blockage. 

KK recorded songs in many languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati. His fame skyrocketed when his debut album ‘Pal’ was released.  

Tamara finally concluded her tribute dedicated to her beloved father on a good note, “Me, Nakul and mumma are gonna work everyday to make you proud, and spread your energy, and we’re gonna be strong and take care of each other like you did.
