Kate Middleton’s Support for Natural History Museum Exhibits Her Love for Natural Environment

Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has issued a new statement where she hailed the power of nature in supporting development and well-being. She has expressed her support for the opening of the Natural History Museum's new gardens.

Despite her ongoing cancer treatment, Kate is making a lot of effort to show up in events that matter and that make a positive change in our society.

She applauded the museum’s initiative to create a special space where all people can connect with nature and learn more about how we can protect the world.

“I am hugely supportive of the Museum’s commitment to create a special space which encourages people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about how we can protect our natural world. I know the power of nature to support our development and wellbeing, both by bringing us joy and helping to keep us physically, mentally and spiritually healthy. I hope these gardens will be inspiring and transformative for the thousands of people who visit.”

This message was shared in Kate’s stories of the official account that she shares with Prince William. The Museum opened to the public on Thursday. It aims to support urban nature, scientific research and education to the public. It comprises two gardens that are spread across five acres across the site of the Museum in South Kensington.

It was announced in 2013 that Kate Middleton was the patron of this initiative. Her support for this initiative exhibits Kate’s interest in the natural world. The palace has earlier said that the Museum had become her favourite place to visit with her three children.

Kate Middleton has always been the patron of causes that are of paramount importance to society like mental health and emotional well being of children, the impact of addiction on children and families and supporting children who come from broken families. In 2018, she donated seven inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust that makes realistic wigs for children who lose their hair during chemotherapy.

Kate’s philanthropic nature has resonated tremendously with followers worldwide. She exhibited her empathetic nature even before she became a royal member. It is incredibly commendable of the Princess of Wales to support a variety of important causes and charities despite her challenging health condition.
