Jonathan Majors Found Guilty by Court; Marvel Drops The Actor from Upcoming Projects

Rising star Jonathan Majors of Marvel films fame has been found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

The jury found that he attacked British choreographer Grace Jabbari during a car ride in Manhattan.

Grace Jabbari told the court that after the altercation she was left with a cut finger, cut behind the ear, bruising and excruciating pain, BBC reported this

“Jonathan Majors was found guilty by a Manhattan Criminal Court jury of assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree,” the prosecutor's office said in a statement.

Prosecutors say that Jonathan was psychologically and physically abusive to his girlfriend for years.

He was acquitted of a separate assault charge and of aggravated harassment although he has maintained his innocence throughout the court proceedings.

Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry said during the closing statement, “These prosecutors bought Grace’s white lies, her big lies and all her pretty little lies.”

Media reports say that while the verdict was being read Jonathan Majors pursed his lips, looked downwards and gave no reaction.

Meanwhile, the actor’s defense team maintain that Grace was the actual aggressor while the altercation took place.

Jonathan’s career was blossoming, he appeared as Kang the Conqueror in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” He was to get featured in two additional Avengers films.

However, now with the latest jury verdict, the studio has decided to drop Jonathan Majors from the upcoming projects thereby impacting his flourishing career.
