Jag Chima has been a fitness entrepreneur for long and has been based out of the west working with the best fitness athletes and coaches. It was just coincidental that he turned to India and spread the awareness.
Consider what he has to say about his association with India. He said that he feels India has some of the most passionate people when it comes to fitness. The industry has grown by leaps and bounds over the last decade and it's increasing exponentially now. Meanwhile, world-class was definitely missing and is much needed. And it was just the perfect time for him and his team and venture here to bring world-class to the athletes, enthusiasts and other stakeholders in the fitness industry in India, he said.
Jag started this initiative by taking a Delhi- Mumbai bicycle ride to bring about more awareness and he definitely grabbed the right eyeballs in the process. He said that it was about bringing out awareness on holistic fitness in India. Many people joined them in the process and they definitely reached out to a larger audience through the same. He wanted to convey the basics of fitness where it helps the body and mind to perform better with better stamina, endurance, and critical functioning. Those are the absolute basics and the start has been really good, he said.
Jag surely understands the fitness mentality and the needs of the Indian market and he is here to stay.
