Jackson Odell, Known for His Role as Ari Caldwell in ABC’s “The Goldbergs” Found Dead at His Residence

Odell was found unresponsive in his residence and the cause of death is not yet known. It will be known as soon as the autopsy is done. No foul play is suspected.

Confirming his death in a statement released on social media, his family said,

“The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell, on Friday. He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world who knew and loved him does as well. We are now going to try and make sense of our immeasurable loss privately.”

His works

Odell also acted in popular shows like ‘iCarly’, ‘Modern Family’, ‘Arrested Development’, and ‘The Fosters’.

He also featured in the 2011 film “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer” with Heather Graham. He entered show business at the age of 12. He was not only a talented actor but was also a good singer and songwriter.

He penned many songs which include the soundtrack of the 2018 romantic drama film “Forever My Girl” including “Wings of an Angel.” Lauren Alaina, “American Idol” contestant sang “Wings of an Angel” for the film.

Tribute

Odell’s co-star Amanda Joy “AJ” Michalka, who appeared alongside Odell in The Goldbergs, posted a tribute to her co-star on Twitter. “Jackson Odell was way too young to pass”, she wrote. “My heart goes out to his family during this time of grieving. Our Goldbergs family will miss him. RIP sweet Jackson. This is heartbreaking.”

Speaking to Radio Nation about his acting career back in 2012, Jackson described his time on Modern Family as a “whirlwind”.

In one of his recent interviews, this is what he had to say, “I worked on Modern Family which was really fun and it was right when it started to become a big show, and I met the whole cast. Acting to me is on a business side a lot more easy to handle because it's all planned out. Music can veer off into any world and it's crazy. But acting is fun and I've got to work with some really great people and I'm grateful to be able to work with them."

Jackson Odell was fond of acting as well as music and he was a budding actor whose loss will be felt for a long time. According to the last reports, the funeral arrangements are being made.
