ISIS Tells Its Terrorists Not to Travel to European Countries over Coronavirus

The terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS) has issued a travel advisory for its terrorists to stop traveling to the coronavirus-hit Europe, which is now described as “the land of the epidemic”.

The Sunday Times in its exclusive report has said that the latest issue of the ISIS newsletter “Al-Naba” refers to a new set of ‘sharia rules’, which warns its operatives against traveling to Europe.

The terror outfit, which is based in the Middle East, who in the past encouraged its operatives to plot several attacks in Europe, now instructed its followers, who may have become ill with the coronavirus not to leave the region they are based, in order to prevent the disease from spreading among its followers.

As the newsletter describes, “healthy should not enter the land of the epidemic and the afflicted should not exit from it”. It also instructs followers to “cover their mouths when yawning and sneezing” and to wash their hands regularly.

The newsletter refers to a ‘plague’ described as a “torment sent by God on whomsoever he wills”, adding: “Illnesses do not strike by themselves but by the command and decree of God.”

After a series of defeats in the Middle East, ISIS has lost its ground in the region but it remains active in parts of Iraq and Syria in a more fragmented form.

Since the coronavirus outbreak, the Middle East has also been affected by the Pandemic, with Iraq reporting 101 confirmed cases and 10 deaths from the COVID-19.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), Europe is now regarded as the epicenter of the worldwide pandemic with Italy, France, and Spain banning all kinds of public gatherings and the UK is soon going to follow suit as the virus has so far claimed more than 6000 lives across the world.

On Saturday, Italy recorded 2,547 new novel coronavirus cases and 252 deaths, which is the highest number of deaths in a single day since the outbreak of the virus. Italy has so far confirmed 21,157 cases, which is the second-highest in the world after China.

Meanwhile, in Spain, the number of coronavirus infections has reached more than 5,753 people, half of which is recorded in its capital Madrid.

The virus has so far claimed more than 6000 lives and infected over 142,000 people across the world, covering 135 countries and territories, with the World Health Organisation describing the outbreak a ‘Pandemic’.
