Several schools in Delhi and Hyderabad have received fake bomb threats. The threats were received at night, sparking panic among the parents and administration. Around 2 schools have received the bomb threat in Delhi and 1 School in Hyderabad. Each threat was sent individually to the administration through email.
The threat was circulated a day after a blast happened in a CRPF school in Rohini which shattered hoardings and boards. Moreover, the cars parked nearby were also badly damaged due to the explosion waves. Delhi police suspects a Khalistani group for allegedly causing the explosion.
Police are also probing a possible telegram channel that claimed the blasts to be retaliation. As per the footage from the CCTV around the area, 12 men were found near the blast area. Police are assuming them to be the prima facia in the blast.
On Sunday after the blast, a telegram channel praised the attacks. The channel, Justice League India posted a video that had Khalistan Zindabad as its watermark. "If Indian coward agency and their master think they can hire filthy goons to target our members to silence our voice then they live in fools world. They can't imagine how close we are to them and how capable we are to strike anytime #KhalistanZindabad #JLI," came from the channel.
Different agencies have been involved in the case. While Delhi police claimed that they found a T-shirt near the blast area, however, it cannot be confirmed if that belonged to suspects or it was someone else. Police also claimed that safety needs to be assured as there are a lot of eateries around the blast area where a lot of rush is seen especially at night.
